Industry History

  • Mikaela started her journey in the theatre. She gained her BFA in Technical Theatre from North Carolina A&T. She has worked across the industry with companies such as Wolf Trap and Blumenthal Performing Arts Center.

  • She then received her MFA in Screenwriting for UNCSA. After she became a Screenwriter and Producer for the VR project System: The Contribution.

    I am familiar with the story-driven scripts for games and have experience with creating multilayer plots.

    Working in large and small writing rooms are two worlds I coexist in within my field.

    I am able to step in at any stage of a web series and contribute with everything from character design to planning full seasons.
